Opening a work area
Opening a work area changes the context of the Meridian client application you are using so that you can work with the documents that are assigned to the work area. There are numerous ways to open a work area. Some are more convenient to use than others under different circumstances.
To open a work area:
- Click the button in the context bar named for the current work area. The Select Work Area dialog box appears.
- Select the work area you want to open and click Open.
Or
- Click Recent Work Areas in the shortcut bar. A list of the work areas that you have opened recently appears.
- Select a work area.
Or
- If the selected document is assigned to the work area that you want to open, click the Go to this work area icon on the document’s Document property page.
Or
- Select Work Areas from the Vault menu. The Work Areas dialog box appears.
- Select the work area you want to open from the list and click Select.
Or
- Double-click the name of the current work area in the status bar. The Select Work Area dialog box appears.
- Select the work area you want to open and click Open.
